OutAndOutPros is my own e-commerce brand, developed as an internal project to build a scalable performance marketing foundation before launching paid acquisition campaigns.

Project Objective

Rebuild the e-commerce store with a conversion-ready structure
Set up clean analytics & tracking for accurate measurement
Prepare the store for future paid campaigns (Search, Shopping, Paid Social)
Validate funnels and user journeys before investing in ad spend

Key Challenges

Existing store structure not optimized for performance marketing
No reliable event-based tracking
Limited visibility into user behavior and funnel drop-offs
Need to design the store with ads + analytics in mind, not just design

Strategy & Execution

Store Restructuring & UX Planning

Reviewed product categories and navigation
Optimized product pages for clarity, trust, and purchase intent
Improved layout to support future traffic from paid campaigns
Focus was on conversion readiness, not aesthetics alone.

Analytics & Tracking Setup

Implemented a clean tracking foundation:
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setup
Google Tag Manager (GTM) integration
Event tracking for:
View item
Add to cart
Begin checkout
Purchase (configured for readiness)
This ensured accurate data collection across the funnel.

Funnel & Attribution Planning

Mapped user journey from landing → product → checkout
Designed conversion events aligned with paid media platforms
Prepared structure to support:
Google Ads conversion imports
Meta Ads event tracking
Future CRM integration if needed

Paid Media Readiness

Although paid campaigns were not launched yet, the project was structured to be ad-ready, including:
Conversion-friendly landing flows
Analytics validation
Tag & event testing
Platform compatibility (Search, Shopping, Paid Social)

Why This Project Matters

This internal project allowed me to apply performance marketing principles in a controlled environment, validate tracking setups, and design scalable systems before spending on acquisition.
